INTRODUCTION:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of wind energy systems, including onshore and offshore wind farms.
  • Conduct research, site assessments, and feasibility studies to gather insights, translating them into actionable wind project plans.
  • Identify and address challenges related to turbine design, energy yield, and grid integration through hands-on testing, simulations, and data analysis
  • Design and implement workflows, system architectures, and monitoring protocols for wind energy projects, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement by integrating the latest wind energy technologies and methodologies into design and installation processes.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-performance wind solutions that maximize energy output and support sustainability goals.
  • Promote innovation through regular brainstorming sessions and educate stakeholders on emerging trends and best practices in wind energy engineering.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including project managers, turbine manufacturers, and regulatory bodies, in an agile and dynamic environment.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in wind energy engineering, with at least 2 years focused on designing and implementing wind energy systems.
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; an advanced degree or certification in wind energy is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful wind projects, demonstrating expertise in turbine design, wind resource assessment, and grid integration.
  • Proficiency in wind energy design and analysis software, such as WindPRO, WAsP, and AutoCAD, as well as knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with wind energy data analytics, performance monitoring, and system optimization.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy policies, incentives, and financial models related to wind projects.
  • Experience in planning and leading wind farm installations, including both onshore and offshore projects.
  • Basic knowledge of programming (e.g., MATLAB, Python) for energy modeling and system simulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
