INTRODUCTION:

  • Role mission: Goals, team, and resources to make it happen. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies for clients.
  • Conduct ESG assessments to identify risks and opportunities within client operations and supply chains.
  • Advise clients on best practices for sustainability reporting and disclosure, aligning with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ESG initiatives, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate ESG principles into corporate strategy and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare detailed ESG reports and presentations for senior management and investors.
  • Stay current with ESG trends, regulations, and industry standards to provide cutting-edge advice.
  • Engage with clients to drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with ESG goals and values.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
  • Proven experience in conducting ESG assessments and developing strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in engaging with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, particularly in ESG or sustainability projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • ertification in sustainability or ESG-related fields (e.g., LEED, CSR-P).
  • Experience in sustainable finance or responsible investing.
  • Familiarity with carbon footprint analysis and climate risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of human rights and labor standards within global supply chains.
  • Proficiency in sustainability and ESG reporting tools/software.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment or with multiple clients.
  • Understanding of corporate governance practices and their impact on ESG performance.
  • Experience with environmental impact assessments (EIA) and life cycle analysis (LCA)
