Key Findings:
- Germany consistently offers the highest salary ranges for all roles and levels, with senior roles reaching up to €95,000 for some positions.
- Even though Spain is leading in Renewable Energy production in Europe, the country still has work to do to catch up in terms of Salaries, as it’s the country with generally the lowest salaries for impact roles out of the 8 countries analysed.
- Despite its smaller size, Sweden offers competitive salaries, particularly for senior roles in Climate Engineering and Renewable Energy Engineering, where ranges go up to €92,000 and €83,000, respectively.
- Across the board, Climate Engineering roles command some of the highest salaries, particularly in senior positions, where salaries can exceed €90,000 in several countries.
- The Netherlands stands out for offering higher salaries across most roles compared to neighboring countries, particularly in the Renewable Energy sector.
- The Renewable Energy sector is witnessing strong demand across all countries, particularly in Germany and the Netherlands, where mid-level salaries reach up to €65,000 and senior roles command up to €87,000. This reflects the global push toward sustainable energy solutions.
- Climate Engineering is one of the most lucrative fields, particularly in the Netherlands and Sweden, where the demand for expertise in climate mitigation and adaptation is high. Senior roles in these countries can reach up to €92,000, indicating a strong market for specialized skills.
